It is made of Recycled Robic nylon fabric. 70D Robic nylon is used for the main pack and thicker more durable 100D Robic nylon for critical areas - bottom of the pack and the side pockets. Robic fabric is waterproof and sheds water well in rain, but the backpack is not completely waterproof and leak at the seams which are not sealed, so we recommend to use waterproof stuff sacks or line the pack with the plastic bag (use durable Nylofume pack liner) to protect your gear against rain and moisture. 

Kumo 36 is a fully featured ultralight backpack that can be use as a day hiking backpack, for overnight trips, or can be also use by minimalist thru-hikers.

Kumo 36 has a lot of accessible storage in the large power mesh pocket for wet clothing, in the external pockets for things like snacks, water bottles... and plenty of room on the inside.
